Relationship Diagram tree lines misaligned if SHOW SPOUSES is turned off
If you display your relationship to a person from their profile page and then turn the SHOW SPOUSES off, the tree lines are all moved to the right of where they should be, and the horizontal lines are longer than they should be.
If you then turn the option on again, the tree lines are all moved to the left of where they should be, and the horizontal lines are shorter than they should be.
This is with a Windows 10 desktop, using Chrome or Edge.
(My question is: Why?)

Hmm. I don't see that problem, and I've looked at over a dozen relationship views this morning. Here's an example from Chrome that looks just fine:
It works correctly for me on Edge or Chrome, whether I show spouses or not. I'm also on Windows 10. I've tried playing with some Chrome appearance settings such as font size and page zoom, and it always appeared the way it should. So I'm stumped as to why you are having a different experience.

It looks fine for me when I open the relationship diagram (oops - I omitted to say that in my original post). The problem arises when I click the SHOW SPOUSES button.

Thanks for the clarification. However, it always works fine for me, even when I toggle the Show Spouses button multiple times.

Mod note: This discussion was moved from General Questions to Family Tree.

I have some more information. For me, this problem seems to be reproducible if the person at the other end of the relationship is the spouse of a blood relative, rather than a blood relative. For blood relatives, the tree is fine. I've tried this on a number of relatives from disparate parts of my family tree with the same results. @Alan E. Brown, my experience seems inexplicably different from yours. In the simplest example, I selected a married uncle; the behaviour is how I have described it.
As a bonus, after I have turned the SHOW SPOUSES option off and on again, the horizontal positions of the profile images have changed from what they were when I opened the diagram. This is in addition to the changes in the tree lines, and it happens in both the blood relative and the spouse scenarios. Furthermore, in the case of a spouse (only), the horizontal spacing of the profile images is changed too.

The "spouse of a blood relative" appears to be the trick of it; when I asked it to show my relationship to my 2nd great-granduncle, it was fine, with or without spouses, but if I asked about his wife, and turned off spouses, the lines went all out of whack, and then got even further misaligned when I turned spouses back on.
Unfortunately, the image-insertion breakage has not been fixed.

I think I figured out why I was seeing something different. The relationship graphs I was playing with went through my wife, and they seem to work correctly. But if it is a spouse of MY blood relative, then I am able to duplicate the problem with incorrect spacing and line drawing. Somehow the existence of a spousal relationship at the beginning of the relationship graph prevents the problem.

One more wrinkle: If I display my relationship with a direct ancestor and turn SHOW SPOUSES off, there is a small horizontal kink in the topmost vertical line of the tree.
Maybe, if this discussion comes to the attention of Engineering, they can iron this issue out too.

It's definitely not a browser-dependent bug; I'm using Firefox. There's no problem with a 1C3R, but with that person's spouse, turning spouses off and then on again results in a line right through our common ancestor.
However, I have not been able to re-create the kinked line on a direct ancestor.
I tried every combination of male versus female ancestors, and they all behave as in the screenshot (that is, correctly).

It looks like this is close to being fixed, but there is still a small error in the horizontal scaling/positioning of the lines. I'd attach an image, but..
