South Carolina marriages in Maryland Church records.
Why are transcriptions of the St Phillips Parish Register of Charlestown SC indexed to the collection “Maryland, Church Records, 1668-1995“? See the following Source:

Thanks.

Try the link in your original post - you'll see it doesn't work. The Community software will corrupt most links placed on a line without other text.

I see that the original link didn't work, although when I copied it into another message, I checked before I sent and it did. Anyway, maybe this image will explain my issue better.
As you see, the event place is Charleston SC. Going to look at the individual image of the marriage record, it indeed has a heading that indicates it is marriages from St. Phillips Parish in Charleston SC. So why does the title at the top of this screen capture show Maryland Marriages?
When I do a Record Search asking for Katherine Dunn in Charleston, SC and a marriage in 1746 then I get two hits.
And I get this when clicking the record details icon for the first hit:
When I click on the record details for the second hit, I get this, which shows it's from South Carolina Marriages 1701-1913):
So the question is, why does this record show the marriage collection "Maryland, Church Records, 1668-1995" when the marriage was in South Carolina? When I do a record search for the same marriage occurring in Maryland, then I get no hits.
