We index the women in parenthesis along with the husband. Do we also type in the husband if the woman is listed first and the husband is listed after widow? Also do we put the names of those listed in a business?

I just read comments about the indexing of people in the businesses. The answer was no. But I am still wondering about the deceased husbands listed after the wife's name. Should they be listed or will they be found somewhere else.

No, deceased husbands are not indexed. They are possibly listed in other directories.

From Project Instructions/What To Remember About This Project:

If a spouse is listed as deceased by the words "wid" or "widow of," do not index the spouse.
