How does one fix the age in a 1950 US Census entry?
In this entry, it gives an age of 4, and the 4 is then crossed out and replaced by a 3, and yet the transcription says age 34 even though this is NOT what this document itself says: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:6F9R-84YW
I want to replace the age on here from 34 to 3.

Also, can this thread please be moved to General Questions? Thank you. I posted it here by mistake.

- Click Edit in the the middle of the big black bar at the top.
- Click the "Edit" (pencil) button next to Age.
- Click in the box, type backspace.
- Click Save Changes.
- Hope the permissions-eating gremlin isn't hungry today.
Note that the calculated ("estimated") birth year will not change and cannot be edited.
Note also that with the Community's newly-extra-click-happy URL mangler, you have to make sure to click the "minus" ("Display as Text") button at the left of the floaty menu thingy that comes up, else it will happily eat all of the colons (and some other characters) in all of the links you post, rendering the URLs unresolvable.
Rescued link: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:6F9R-84YW. (And once again thank you to @Cousin Vinny for pointing out this particular new extra click.)

Mod note: the original post was edited to fix the link. It was left in Search since it is about indexed records.
