I have a great Aunt in my tree but the ID number that is assigned to her name is for another person. This person is not related to me all the info is wrong even though the name is the same My relative needs a new ID number so that the info can be corrected. I know I am right she lived with us when she died.

The PID numbers are assigned when the profile is created. There are not really wrong or right PID numbers. If the profile is attached to incorrect relatives, that's different and can be corrected easily. If you want to share details, we can be of more help.

Carrie Bell Cox MWCJ-KKJ listed as the daughter of Alfred Cox L7K9-PY7 and Bessie Handy L7K9-PEB . The information for this Carrie is not correct for our Carrie Bell . Our Carrie Bell Cox was never married she had 1 child Roger Cox. Our Carrie Bell was borned June 20, 1907 and died in November of 2000 at the time she lived with my grand mother Ola Cox Phillips in Bassett Virginia . She died in Memorial Hospital of Martinsville Virginia. She had 1 funeral in Bassett Va at Bassett Funeral Services. And her body was sent to Pennsylvania for burial. Wondered if I could remove the wrong person and create a new ID for our Carrie Bell Cox.

The problem here was that someone had confused "your" Carrie Bell with a different woman "Carrie Belle Cox" born in South Carolina in 1908, who later moved to North Carolina. I have removed the details of this other Carrie into a separate person. Would you like to now edit your Carrie with the correct data? She appears in the 1910 and 1920 census with her family, and the only other records of her that I see is the Social Security Death Index in 2000 and a FindAGrave entry for her burial in Limerick, PA. I was unable to find her son, given just a name.
