FS has a collection of church records from the orthodox church in Sarajevo. Are there any plans for indexing them or how does the process work? I saw a question here from someone that wanted to help out indexing them and i would like to do that too.

FamilySearch has contracts with any record holder (city, state, country, church) to take images of the records. Those contracts may or may not include the option to create an index. Sometimes, the record holder simply wants the records to be preserved.

Those contracts and the terms of them are tightly held. If a record set may be indexed in the future is not shared with users of FamilySearch. The best thing is to check open indexing projects regularly and participate in the ones that interest you.

From a Help Center article (https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/can-our-society-make-indexing-project-requests): "Because of the time commitment required and the need to provide work that has broad appeal, we are not currently accepting new project requests."
