When you are on an Ancestor Discovery Page (signed in) and want to "Go to Detail Person Page" at the top right of the browser screen, the returning screen provides this error.

Here is the URL I was on: https://ancestors.familysearch.org/KP3G-9VR/raymond-henry-ohms-1912-1963

This is the resulting URL after clicking the link at the top of the page: https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/undefined

The last part of the URL should be the PID from the previous Ancestor Discovery Page and it is missing (replaced with undefined)

Please escalate this to engineering to get this fixed.

I would suggest you ask this question of Ancestry.

@Yvonnewedgworth, I think you misread Amy's question. The "Ancestor Discovery Page" is 100% FamilySearch, and has absolutely nothing to do with Ancestry.

There was another thread about this that started with the new cemeteries thing; under some circumstances, it sends you to the Discovery page rather than the Details page, and then you can't get to the Details page due to this error. (Or, well, you can, with judicious URL editing, but that's not how it's supposed to work.)

@Amy Archibald This seems to be working now. Looks like they got it fixed. Let us know if you see it again.

    Sam 😊
