Sort Memories by date, in App
- Situation: When I view photos and memories in someone's page on the app, they are in haphazard order.
- Need: I want to see them displayed chronologically, as they are on the website.
- Outcome: Displayed chronologically gives a sense of the life story, and makes it easier to find that photo you want from a specific date.
- Benefit: see outcome
- Helpful Additions: I don't see how to pull the URL from the app, but I'm referring to the display of a person's Memory items.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'd like to offer a couple of clarifications.
- In the Family Tree app, memories are not shown in a "haphazard" order, but rather are always shown in chronological order by contribution date, with the most recent first.
- I believe you are asking to sort by the date supplied by the contributor of the memory in the memory details.
- Although the website does provide this sort option, I rarely find it useful, since only a tiny fraction of memories have that date filled in, and only the creator of the memory can fill it in -- no other user can touch it.
- The mobile app's interface has to work with limited screen real estate, so there's always a balance to be struck between adding additional options and cluttering the interface. I'm not saying I know what that correct balance is in this case, but I'm sure it's a Factor to be considered.

Thanks Alan. Correct, request is to sort Memories by the assigned date of the event.
Further, if screen space clutter is a concern in the app, the request is to make the default sort be #1 below, which I cannot imagine anyone would object to. And if the unlikely event that some users have other preference, use #2 or #3.
(1) Set default to sort by the event date. For everyone. If that means that no real estate is taken up by asking for a preference, that is then fine with me. And if date has not been populated, perhaps it defaults to sort next by the date uploaded, as it does currently. So, no disruption to anyone: event date populated gets sorted by it; event date blank gets sorted by input date.
[Btw, Note that Memories on the people I follow practically all have that date completed. (And as it is used more, folks get into the habit of populating it.)]
Or...
(2) in the app settings, set up a preferred sort order for Memories.
Or ...
(3) the user preference, as currently set in the web, is used ... if that is feasible.
Thanks
