Descendant Tree View Broken ?

For some time now, the descendant tree view seems to be broken. Sometimes it displays spouses but mostly it doesn't display spouses. It's inconvenient to navigate around with the tree view in this state. I seacrhed but couldn't find any discussions about this.

You can choose whether to show spouses or not on the same Settings popup/dropdown as the one where you choose the number of generations to show.

I'm told that the button is intended to depict a pair of sliders, like on an old stereo system, but I continue to see it as either a pair of mismatched eyes, or a couple of skinny fish swimming in opposite directions.

Thanks much! That seems to have done the trick. It must have been disabled in one of the updates because I'd been displaying the view for many years.
