Are Family Groups for immediate Family only? How do I add members I am unable to add to my tree?
I recently made a family group for my extended family, but realized when I tried to add my Uncle and my Sister (both living) that I was unable to add either to the tree, meaning I wasn't able to invite either of them. I'm not sure if the family group is intended to be for extended family, but even if it's just immediate family then I should be able to add my sister, right? How do I add these people to my tree, or can I invite them without doing so?

I seem to have figured it out- I guess you have to create a new copy of the person within the family group. Their number would start with a G probably. I assume when they pass this would only require one merge rather than dozens potentially

You can add even totally-unrelated friends to a family group -- but you can't use their private-to-their-account IDs.
(I haven't turned on the experiment, so I don't know the particulars on how to add your uncle and sister; I just know that it will not involve their existing PIDs.)
