Use of "Date Updated" filter in search of community posts

When I do a search for community posts, I end up with a list of results on a page that offers a number of filter options, including date updated "From" and "To" filters. I can enter the required date either by using the mouse to navigate from month to month in the pop-up calendar, or I can try to type the date directly via the keyboard.
There seem to be several issues with entering dates into these filters. My location means that I have a non-US/Canadian date format but, if I change my Windows regional settings to US, at least the first two of these issues persist.
- The default text in these boxes appears to be "dd/mm/yyy". The lack of a visible fourth "y" is due to incompatibility between the size of the control and the font that is being used.
- If I attempt to use my keyboard to enter a date, the behaviour is weird. When I get to typing the month or year, I find that typing will change the preceding components of the date (e.g. the day and/or month) as well, and it is near impossible to enter a date correctly this way.
- Also when I use the keyboard, what is echoed depends on whether I use the number keys above the alpha keys or the numeric keypad. If I use the numeric keypad, what is echoed is likely to be one less than what I typed (e.g., type "2" and "1" is what I see).
- I can use the up- and down-arrow keys to change the selected date component (i.e., day, month or year), but that will likely change other components as well.
- When I use the mouse to select a date from the calendar month, the selected date is likely to be the day before the one I selected.

It would be useful to have a button to clear all selected filters.

@JulianBrown38 Thank you for your feedback. It appears that the issues you brought up in your original post are all corrected. I will pass on your suggestion.

The date filters are still behaving in the same bizarre fashion; specifically point 2.

I'm wondering if there's something that happens with your original regional setting's handling of dates? I'm starting with the U.S./Canada regional setting and it starts with a mm/dd/yyyy date format, all of the characters are visible and typing in a date with the keypad gives me what was intended?
I'm using Windows 10 and the Microsoft Edge browser.

Oh, and to clarify, I'm also in the community posts search screen.

@David Alan Webber, thanks for responding. My first point about the width of the control was fixed some time ago; the control's width seems to have been increased so that all of the "yyyy" is visible. Unfortunately, none of my other points have been addressed, so I didn't update this discussion until 28 January.
I'm using Windows 10 and Chrome, but the problems are the same if I use Edge. For the record, they also apply to the "Date Created" filter.
I've just retried changing my regional settings from New Zealand to US, signing out of FamilySearch and restarting my PC. As expected, the filter prompts changed to "mm/dd/yyyy", but problems 2 to 5 remained. This is the same as it was in March 2024.
I would be interested to know if anyone else is seeing these problems. At present, the filters are completely unworkable for me.
