Missing films in the On Line Catalogue
Some years ago I found an ancestor on film # 103885123 Item 8 for Uny Lelant, Cornwall England and I added the record as a source and the film number was added so I know it is correct however now I need to go back and verify a date as another contributor has a similar date for the Christening but the years differ. However all my searches for the film have the same result. Film cannot be found. Why is it no longer in the catalogue?

You appear to have recorded the film number incorrectly - there should be a maximum of seven digits.
I had a quick look but could not find the correct reference for the film in question. Perhaps you will be able to locate it yourself, from going to the Catalog page at https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/results?count=20&placeId=3478827&query=%2Bplace%3A%22England%2C%20Cornwall%2C%20Uny%20Lelant%22&subjectsOpen=393139-50, which lists holdings relating to Uny Lelant.

I believe that is a DGS number rather than a film number. The format does look more like a DGS number.
So I took a look in Images: https://www.familysearch.org/records/images/search-results?imageGroupNumbers=103885123
Perhaps you can find the relevant record there @Yvonne Vincent.
And, yes, in theory, a DGS number should be findable in the catalog, but the catalog still has not been fully updated.
