Collage Creator Page
So I am sending this feedback to you because the feedback tab does not work and gives an error message and hoping it can get to the right engineers.
Here are my suggestions for the Collage page that is being developed:
I have made 15 pages from your Collage Beta/Trial that you created. See Joshua Shuey Gallery in familysearch # KNH4-X5P
My feedback is:
a. All the backgrounds need to be provided in three colors, 1. Colored, 2. Black and White, 3. Sepia. Then folks can use them for heritage pages. b. the polka dot smilie faces need to also have a plain white polka dots version on different primary-colored backgrounds. This will provide for all of the “Groovy” pages that we might want to make for our 60s and 70s photos. Also polka dots with icons such as: a bubble instead of polka dot for doggie or baby’s bath time, ornaments for Christmas, pumpkins for fall and Halloween, stars inside of circles for military, etc. c. The one background with dramatic, deeply-colored foliage is not particularly good for a heritage page, but if you provided a sepia version with larger frames – my lovely ladies with the huge hats of the style they wore around the turn of the century 1900 would fit right in as would the floor length 1890 dresses and the art deco brides. d. The primary colored background with the hearts and branches would work for a heritage book if you provided a version in black and white. e. The colorful primary colored waves are only good for modern photos but if you provide a black and white version and eliminated some of the waves on the top, it looks like ocean waves and sky and I can put my immigrant pictures on it or my boat photos. I tried it in my photo editing software and it really works. f. I LOVE all of the mid-century modern designs for my many photos from the 40s-80s and I have tons of those, who doesn’t. g. The purple and green wood-tone backgrounds just screams for a black and white version for heritage photos. h. MOST important, please provide the ability to add text in text boxes like Microsoft Paint provides. What are photos without words to help a person remember. i. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the 3D tree. It is perfect as a cover. j. the oriental/Japanese background looks super as a Memorial page due to the mists and all of the fuzzy background. Just remove the house and the people for a more plain background. I gave it a shot for my Killed in Action soldier that died in Korea and it worked very well.
