In the message box, type your description and include the following elements.

• Situation: When using ""new Source Linker" page click "Feedback" button on left side of page. This action produces pop-up "An error has prevented the requested action. Please visit the FamilySearch Community for help or to report an issue."
• Need: Click "Feedback" should allow users to provide feedback.
• Outcome: Click "Feedback" should allow users to provide feedback.
• Benefit: FamilySearch desires feedback; but current website does not allow this.
• Helpful Additions: none.

Previous posts in Communities on this topic have come to the conclusion that various browser extensions block the feedback button. When those are disabled, the feedback button works fine. Some of these extensions, which I don't recall, were named if you can find those previous posts.

The Feedback button may not function if you have an active adblocker. AdBlock Plus, uBlock Origin, and Malwarebytes are among the products known to block the FamilySearch Feedback button.

It would be great if the feedback button worked regardless of an ad blocker.
