ERROR REPORT - Placename Algorithm - Ireland
Good morning @N Tychonievich please and thanks.
Ireland 1901 Census Dawros, in County Kerry, has been moved to County Galway, without an (original) trace left: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QPBY-KZCM
The index on FamilySearch is pulled from the Irish Census site, where the family is correctly listed in County Kerry. https://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Kerry/Dawros/Feoramore/1412450/
Oh - and while we're on the subject of Irish records, this one rankled for quite some time.
The citation credits the Public Record Office of Ireland in Belfast. This is a 1901 census, at which time the Public Record Office of Ireland was in Dublin. And, even today, a census record for Kerry or Galway would not be in the hands of PRONI (Public Record Office of Northern Ireland) in Belfast. The Public Record Office of Ireland has never been in Belfast.
Thanks.

Thanks @N Tychonievich
May I add one more to the Irish list, please? This is an example, one of many, crediting the GRO in Southern Ireland for records. There is not and never has been any such country as Southern Ireland. https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/2659409
Thanks.
