Errors with the Belgium, Antwerp Police Immigration Index, 1840-1930

    Hi,

When I do a record search for one of my ancestors, records show-up in the list from the Belgium, Antwerp Police Immigration Index, 1840-1930. The example below for Hirsch Herz. The record also lists his 4 children - example for one of them also included in some of the screen clips below.

When I click on his name or on the view record button, I get an error that the record has been removed. This is the error:

    User: "image.png"

When I click on the image button instead, it takes me to the correct image. However, the paperclip icon to attach it to the tree is grayed out like this:

    image.png

I thought maybe the links themselves were incorrect, since the image works but the other two don't. The name links to https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:JSPS-M47, and the view record button links to https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:JSPS-M47?treeref=GZTD-Y86, and the view image button links to https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:S3HT-XXFQ-WGC?personaUrl=%2Fark%3A%2F61903%2F1%3A1%3AJSPS-M47%3Ftreeref%3DGZTD-Y86.

I noticed that the first two links have 1:1:JSPS-M47 in them and the third link has 3:1, so I tried editing the url manually to https://familysearch.org/ark:61903/3:1:JSPS-M47?treeref=GZTD-Y86, but that did not solve the problem. Instead it gives me a 404 error.

So, back to the image view again... Here is another view with the indexed info at the bottom (this time for his two children - Salamea and Gizela:

    image.png

The url for this page is https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:S3HT-XXFQ-C3Y?i=60&cc=1477769&personaUrl=%2Fark%3A%2F61903%2F1%3A1%3AJSPS-M4H.

Clicking the record button next to Salamea attempts to take me to https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:JSPS-M4H; however, I get the same error message about the record having been removed. I tried editing the link to the /3:1 version from above, but that did not work. It gives me this error:

    image.png

If I try clicking the attach option instead of the view record button, it attempts to take me to https://www.familysearch.org/search/linker?ark=/ark:/61903/1:1:JSPS-M4H but again produces the same error message about the record having been removed.

I know that, absolute worst case is that I can take a screenshot and manually add it as a new source from a memory; however, I am trying to use the version that is linked to all the other records in this collection and is indexed. So, besides that, any suggestions on what to try and how to find and attach the record would be welcome!

    Thanks,

    \~ Sarah W

      @SarahWanger

There is a known issue with the New Editor/Viewer tool. When we edit, the record is hidden for a time. We've been told that it is not lost, just not available and that the engineers are aware and working on a solution. Several threads such as this one.

It is also likely that a Mod will roll your thread into one of the existing threads on the same problem.

The record appears to be available to view and attach to Family Tree. Search Records results for Hirsch Herz
