@kath gray - Welcome to FamilySearch Community and asking your question about your ancestor Thomas Gray. This is a bit of a sticky problem which will take some careful research. There are at least two profiles for Thomas Gray and Ann Davies. And then there were some merges done. There are several sources, and you indicate that you have a birth record for Thomas. The two profiles each for Thomas and Ann may be the same person or they may be different individual. The names are not that unusual. Here is a short summary of the profiles.

1 Thomas Gray - GK6J-DFP - this profile was entered into family search about a year ago by another user. Parents are shown as James Goffe Gay and Jane Rumble.

2- Ann Davies - GK6N-14L - This profile was entered at the same time as the above profile of Thomas. No parents are listed.

3- Thomas Gray - LYL7-ZMH - This profile was entered into family search back in 2018 by another user. Parents are shown as James Gray and Sarah Ann Hiscott Holton. There have been 2 merges done on this profile.

4- Ann Davies - L6FV-P77 - This profile was added by yourself back in 2014. There have been 2 merges done on this profile. You added a relationship to Thomas Gray - L4TG-C16 who was already in Family Search with a wife named Emily Edges. This profile of Thomas was subsequently merged with the profile of Thomas Gray LYL7-ZMH.

As stated above, this will take some careful research to get it straightened out and deciding if the above profiles represent the same persons or different persons. If the same, they can be merged.

You may want to consult with the other users that have been making contributions to these profiles. They could be related. You can message them by clicking on their name in the change logs. The other thing you may want to do is call the help line at 1 866 406 1830 and they will be glad to help. Hours are 8 am to 8 pm Mon thru Sat and 1 pm to 8 pm on Sunday, Mountain time.
