NONMEMBERS ON OUR DIRECTORY

I use LCR to send out communication to our stake members. Recently two people emailed me and said they are not, nor ever have been, members of our church and want to be removed from all mailing lists.

How does that happen that nonmembers are on our directory? One even had a photo of them on their listing! I know that even though WARD DIRECTORY doesn't show an email address, LCR will. I contacted their supposed ward clerk and requested it, but can he take them off LCR as well?

HELP!!! THANK YOU!!!

I think it is possible for spouses of members to be listed on their Ward's directory. Check with a knowledgeable ward clerk on that. Also when you send mass emails, I think you have the ability do deselect individuals before you sent.

@samshicat You may want to post in the specific group rather than in General Questions. https://community.familysearch.org/en/group/76-familysearch-center-support-for-leaders-and-staff
