Arizona is tight. I am not sure they release any marriage documents to the public. You need to contact the La Paz County Vital Records.

I have found images of both the affidavit and the certificate for a relative's marriage in Maricopa, Arizona in 1948 in this collection: https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/2185173. The blurb implies that La Paz county is included, but the waypoints only list Apache, Cochise, Gila, Graham, Greenlee, Maricopa, Mohave, Pima, Pinal, Santa Cruz, and Yavapai, so I don't know what the coverage actually is.

@Bill Marshall_2 If your parents are deceased, you can, if you wish, share their names, and we may be able to help more. If they are living, I would not recommend sharing their names, for the sake of privacy.

La Paz County county wasn't created until 1983 from Mojave and Yuma counties. Quartzite was in Yuma County in the 1940's.

Thanks, @YColeman, but drat: "This collection does not include Coconino, Navajo and Yuma counties."
So @Gail Swihart Watson's advice turns out to be the best that can be done in this case. Oh, well.
