For the first part, most projects today come with a preset number of entries. To delete the blank (unused) entries, follow these two steps:

Click on the trash can icon on your tool bar.

    FireShot Capture 006 - Indexing Tool — FamilySearch.org - www.familysearch.org.png

    This dialog box will appear.

    FireShot Capture 007 - Indexing Tool — FamilySearch.org - www.familysearch.org.png

Choose "All blank entries" and click Delete. You will then be able to submit your batch.

For the second part: If there is no information for a part, you will skip it. No need to create all blank entries, since they will be deleted anyway. This batch is all Baptism/Birth/Christenings.

Please share your batch code. Your batch code looks like [MQNN-TJG] and is located at the top of your indexing screen, under Batch ---> About Batch and Help ---> Share Batch.

    MQXK-SJB

Plus if there is no info under marriage and death do I still need to put in unknown in each of those fields or just skip them entirely?

Since you do have information in entries 3, 6 and 9, you can do one of two things:

Go to those entries and click the trashcan and in the dialog box, select "The current entry (Entry X)" and delete them individually.

    Or

Go to entry 3 and and blank out both the Given and Surnames. Go back to that entry's Given Name and click this button:

    FireShot Capture 050 - Indexing Tool — FamilySearch.org - www.familysearch.org.png

This button gives the same value--in your case <BLANK>--of that field to all of your entries. Next, go to the Surname and do the same there. Then go to the trash can and Delete all blank entries.

You should, at this point, have 3 entries and will be able to submit.

Also, it looks like you have indexed reference images. You do not index any reference image. Reference images are for reference only as they are part of a different batch(es) that will be indexed by others. You only index what is in your batch, which is three entries, Grace, Shilla and Clever.
