Where are my Relatives ??
Preamble
You know when i was in school I asked many many questions. The professor would sigh and answer the questions. I was an annoying questioner, cause I'm curious. Students would afterwords say to me, I'm glad you asked cause I had exactly the same question. I say this cause I'm hoping my annoying questions don't get too frustration and hopefully help someone else. I have been reminded that the world is not perfect puzzle pieces that fit perfectly together. (as much as I try to make it that way)
Here is my problem ..
So I got an email from FamilySearch saying do you have relatives and what place are they, Ok That's interesting I click it through and see that I have several Diiiiiistant relative. OK interesting, thanks.
Now the Question:
Other than the link provided in the email I cannot for the life of me see how to get to this page, from the family search web site. Where is the menu item to get there if I dont have the link in the email. I wanted to tell a friend where this is. Im sure its there but I cant find it?
Here is the page I want to get to. What menu items to I choose to get there. I have searched in the helps but cannot see that its giving me the answer.
Thank you ..... again.

You are looking at RootsTech, a special family history conference, both on-line and in person. One of the features is that it lets (if you give permission) other people registered, either on-line or in person, see how they are linked to your family tree. Be aware that it is temporary, runs for a while before and a while after the conference, which is this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The "find relatives" and message feature is not permanent.
So you go to that site, sign in to FamilySearch.org at the top - or go to FamilySearch in a separate tab and sign in there. Then go back to the 'find relatives at RootsTech' tab and click "view relatives." You can sort by location, common relatives, etc. (That's at the upper part of the column/list on the left. At the bottom of that list is a way you can share the link (then your friends would go through the same process) with others so they can see if they are related to people who registered for RootsTech. If you like, you can send a chat to people. I searched for close-ish relatives, then did a search for my state (Vermont) and found some people from my town had registered.
That's kind of how it works. It's intended to be fun and a way to connect with people who share your interests and perhaps your ancestry.
Curiosity is a good thing. I may not be the smartest person in the world, but I am probably among the most curious.
Hope this is helpful.

Relatives at RootsTech comes up this time every year. Last year, instead of ending shortly after the end of the Conference, it was extended for several months - until June, if I recall correctly.
You can bookmark this link to find it again.
