How much time does it take for a reviewed name to be able to be search for?
Hello,
For the past few weeks, I have been doing the quick review name, I have been through almost 10 000 names. All of them are from a small village I have selected.
But when I do a research of all the people from this village, I don’t find the names I have reviewed. Why is this? How much time does it take for a reviewed name to be able to be found ?
Also, I am not able to do a complete name review for this same village. Why is this?
Thank you for you help? I am just trying to understand how the opportunities work.

As far as I can tell, a record collection goes through the system one complete step at a time. It will be all indexed. Then it will go in line for a quick review and later a full review. After that, there are things that are done on the backend to prepare it for publication. I have no idea how long it takes, but I would guess it depends on the size of the collection. It may take a while before those records in quick review are available for searching online. The upside is the current system is quicker than how long it used to take to be published, like months verses years.

It was not the answer I was hoping for but you are right, it is better to take months to be published than years.
Thank you so muy for taking the time to answer my question.

Hi, Alexandra.393,
I've been a user since August of last year, and I wanted to share my observations. I've reviewed over 100,000 records and have been encouraging our branch members to participate. We average 120,000 reviews a month with 20 contributors.
For a Quick Name Review with a specific place, I assume you want to find your own relatives. If you recognize them as you review, the best place to check is in the Family Tree app on your phone. Click the hamburger icon (the three horizontal lines) on the upper left side, then select "Tasks." Under Tasks, you'll see relatives' names with colored icons next to their names. Look for a light blue circle labeled "Record Hint." This suggests that a document has been added to that particular person, and you need to check if they are a match. This new information was added because someone like us reviewed records. It can appear right away or later, with no definite time frame.
A couple of months ago, I reviewed two documents that turned out to be the birth certificates of my great-grandfather's siblings. Because of this, I found all eight of my 3rd great-grandparents. After about a week, I checked my tasks, and there they were. So was my wife a few weeks later found her four 3rd great-grandparents. Our branch had a temple trip the following month, and we performed their ordinances.
I hope this experience of ours excites you more to continue contributing. If they are ready to receive their ordinances they (availability of names) will be ready in no time and happy searching!
