@Lars van Ravenzwaaij It's been a very long time since you reported this error but I noticed you never received a response. The errors in the Netherlands Archival Collection have been well documented and I have added this one. Engineering teams are still working on a fix they believe will correct place name errors across many collections. The list of user reported errors will not be going away until all have been corrected.

I stopped reporting these errors, as I find more and more of them. In fact the place name problem in this collection is becoming even worse.

@Lars van Ravenzwaaij Never stop reporting. This is what I have for that collection and if you can add to it, please do:

6700 records for Cool, Rotterdam standardized as Cool, Kerry, Ireland; 720 for Kollummerland as California, U.S.; 9800 for Bergen, Netherlands as Bergen, Norway, 23,500 Netherland towns starting with "De" standardized as Delaware, U.S.; Hoorn, North Holland standardized as Hoorn, South Holland; Bloemendaal is in North Holland, NOT South Holland (23.400)

@SerraNola Well in fact I reported quite a lot of other places to Tychonievich. At some point he asked me to give no further examples as the engineers had enough examples.

I'll post the list here for you tomorrow.

@Lars van Ravenzwaaij The intent is not to give the engineers more examples, but to have a system for checking if the "fix up" catches everything.

@Lars van Ravenzwaaij Thank you. As I mentioned, there is no more sending each report on separate tickets to engineers as in the past. I will incorporate these into one report for Norway and when they tell me the treatment is being run on that collection these place names will be checked.

Thanks anyway. I'll be patience and wait if someday the problem will be solved. I allready have become used, to not trust the place name data and allways look in the sources for the correct place.
