Why can't I add additional information to place names?

When I'm in "Helping Others" mode, I can't add anything to the place name - well it won't save anything not found in the standardized list. I used to be able to add "of" + place name to indicated a place associated with the person, but the actual event place was unknown.

Or, if I had details about the actual place of death, e.g., hospital, in a river, etc. I used to be able to include that in the place of death. I would select the standardized name, but then go back and add the additional information. Now, if I try to add additional information I no longer have the option to save it. If I initially fill in "of [standardized place name]" it only saves the standardized place name.

I understand the usefulness of standardized place names, can a happy medium be found? Before, I could still set a standardized name (which appeared below the entry line), and include/save "of, etc" in the actual place name.

This is just in helper mode? If you go back to the same profile and correct the place name as yourself can you add the full place name or are you still limited to just the standard?

I was working on cleaning up a family and fixing all the place names yesterday and didn't have any trouble saving full place names and linking to the appropriate standards but that was working as just me, not a helper.

It seemed like it was only in helper mode, as a friend of mine had no problem. I just went in to try on my regular login and it seemed like there was a new option to select "of....." (unless I had been oblivious to it before). I went back into helper mode and it now accepts "of....".

If it was just fixed - thank you!!! to whoever made that happen.
