    Just my opinion about how history is taught, but given the present state of affairs, there may be a time when our descendants will wonder where or be unable to find New York without the full name of the country in question, such as in USSR. 😎

    Agree with you, Maryellen. Already they have stopped teaching cursive writing in schools and we will have difficulty finding people of the younger generations who can read the older documents. So you can't predict what the future generations can or cannot understand about our own country.
