Marriage Notes

Seems futile to "Add Notes" on the marriage page if they aren't going to show up on the "Show All" Notes on the detail page or at least as a "Collaboration". People aren't likely to realize marriage notes even exist.

There are several issues but one aspect is that, with the current system design, Notes against the marriage are never going to show up on the Individual's detail page or collaboration page because the individual and the couple-relationship / marriage are different beasts. Clearly, FamilySearch isn't doing a very good job of getting this aspect over.

One of the big problems is that, as the OP says "People aren't likely to realize marriage notes even exist". I would suspect that part of this issue is that when you're looking at the Individual's profile, the information looks complete - you see the date and place of the marriage - what more can there be? Well, plenty actually but you actually have to click on the pencil icon to edit the data before you see the marriage notes, etc. For anyone nervous about accidentally editting stuff, this is not a good way in. (Just clicking on the word "Marriage" shows you something but not the notes etc.)

Maybe we need to see some sort of "Further detail about Relationship" link alongside the Marriage date on the Individual's profile?
