What are you trying to do precisely? Do you know the name of the person in the photo and are trying to determine whether that person is already in Family Tree? If you do not know the name and are trying to determine whether there are other photos of the same person, such a search is not possible.

I agree it would be useful if there was a site where you could upload your photos to for an i.d. match. We all have old photos that have come down through the family but have no names to go with them. And we all have question's such as " If only I had asked Granny who is stood next to her in the photo." I have in the past come across a distant cousin and passed copies of photos on to him of our g.g.Grandfather. And another photo of a young man stood outside a grocery shop. We had the family surname to go on knowing he was one of several brother's . We took the shop name and did research and were able to identify him through census records stating where he worked for a living. It may be worth messaging people who have added records to your tree to see if they have any ideas. And at the end of the day you have nothing to lose.

I don't understand what you mean. Why would you be looking for matches? Do you mean searching for the person pages of individuals in the photo so they can be tagged?

I have a lot of old photos and I am trying to identify who they are. I thought there might be a way for me to search all the photos on the site for a match of the picture I uploaded. Maybe that's not possible.
