Editing an indexed record
In this image: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3QHK-Q3PP-GHQ7?view=index&action=view&personArk=%2Fark%3A%2F61903%2F1%3A1%3A68Q9-L9D5
Is there any way to edit the marriage date in the index as seen here: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:68Q9-L9D5 ? If so, how?

As there appear to be no takers to your challenge, it seems your only option for moving this issue along will be to add comments to Feedback.
Probably just one of the many issues attached to the problems currently being experienced by users when trying / wanting to edit indexed records.

In addition to Paul's useful comments, I would suggest that it's probably a good idea to refrain from editing indexed records in the current climate. The record would likely disappear if you could edit it.

Thanks for both replies. This question came from an acquaintance who was trying to fix the date. I'll pass on the fact that the editor is not working that great and risks losing parts of the index and that at this point marriage events cannot be edited anyway. Only individual information.

@Gordon Collett, I see the Edit box enabled on the record index and pencils on the Editor. Was there something more?

@Maile L Yes. Where do you edit the marriage date of this marriage record?

I had one this week with no field to edit the marriage date as well. This one simply had no field for the marriage date in the Editor, and the date is incomplete in the index. The index shows a marriage date of just 1900, but the record image shows that the couple married on 7 Mar 1900.
Edited to repair the link which was mangled although I did NOT put it on a line alone and did not hit ENTER after. I see the link entry method has changed.0 -
For some reason, the marriage event is only attached to the wife in this index.
(I didn't make any changes.)

I added the marriage date for the wife. I clicked the pencil to the right of "Birth" and chose "+ADD EVENT" at the bottom. (Screenshots are from the husband's perspective)
There is an "Event Type" dropdown where I selected "Marriage". After that you can add fields such as the date.
