Filae connection issues?
Is anyone experiencing Filae issues with their LDS account? I know a lot of new records were added to the site maybe that caused issues. When I connect It looks like all documents are now padlocked and require a premium account. I question if it is just an issue with my account because I cannot get into my own tree and get odd message when I try to log in about needing to log in through Familysearch which is what I had just tried to do!

Filae was purchased by MyHeritage. Have you tried accessing what you were researching through MyHeritage instead?

I had a bit of difficulty connecting to my membership-linked Filae account, but I was able to get it working. I have not signed in to Filae for a long time, since I don't have any French ancestors and so I haven't seen a need.
When I tried to sign in, I found that my saved password was incorrect. So I tried to recover my password, but I was shown a message saying "This account is associated with a FamilySearch account. To connect, you must go through the FamilySearch.com partner page" So I went to the member subscriptions page, and chose Filae. The only button on the Filae subscription page is "Join for Free", so I clicked it, even though I already had an account. That took me to a Filae account creation page, but it had a link for "I already have an account." Clicking that took me to the sign in page, including an option to recover a forgotten password. This time it worked.
I'm able to search for records, and I haven't encountered any that are padlocked or otherwise restricted (but I've only sampled a dozen or so collections, so I can't be sure that every collection is available).
You may not have the same problem I did with recovering a forgotten password, but it seems clear that going through that member subscriptions page helps keep your membership-linked Filae account properly connected. Now that I went through that process, I am able to sign in to Filae directly with no problems (I don't have to go through that subscriptions page anymore).
