Print name and address on ordinance card.
The helper gold me that my name and address can no longer be printed on my ordinance printouts because of privacy concerns. I have a very good reason for wanting my name and address to always be printed on my ordinances cards, as follows: A person in my Ward asked me if he could help me do the ordinances for my family, and I said yes. I gave him 5 of my family's endowment cards. The next day, he said that he lost or dropped them somewhere on the way home. A few days later I received those same 5 cards in the mail from a person who found them and mailed them to the address on the cards! This happened a few other times, too. In some instances, cards were mailed to me from persons whom I had given them to, to help me do the work; that is, they had done some of the cards, but for various reasons could not do the rest, so they mailed them back to me from the address on the cards. Sometimes the person I gave cards to gave some of them to another person who had offered to help, but then couldn't, and they mailed them back to me. There is no privacy concerns from name and address on the cards, as anyone can find that info online for anyone. Besides, what could someone do with a card with my name and address on it even they found one? PRIVACY should NOT be a concern in this matter. I am NOT suggesting that the names and addresses of the originator should be printed automatically on their cards. I AM suggesting that people who WANT their name and address on their cards should be able to tell the program to print them with their name and address.
