Ancestor Immigration Date Notifications
Dear Developers/Programmers,
I love when FamilySearch notifies me of ancestors' birthdays and wedding anniversaries. Wonderful feature!! Could FamilySearch also notify us of our ancestors' immigration anniversaries? Immigration was a huge sacrifice our ancestors made on our behalf and needs to be noticed/acknowledged and celebrated. Without their "leap of faith" many of us wouldn't have the freedoms we are so privileged to enjoy here in the United States. Without their immigration (with practically nothing to their name), many of us wouldn't have encountered the LDS Church and all the blessings it has to offer. Heck, immigration built this wonderful country and is a HUGE part of our nation's story.
Again, please, please, please consider adding to the "Notifications" an option to be notified when it's the anniversaries of our ancestors' immigration.
Thank you for your consideration.

Dear Developers - If you do proceed with Janet's suggestion, please give us an off-switch. Every notification I receive is for something I already know about and added to my ancestors' profiles. I have everything turned off that will turn off, and I still get a flood of marketing fluff.
Thank you.
