Removal of email addresses of the deceased
I can't find this after searching. For people who have entered relatives in FamilySearch and have subsequently died, are their email addresses for contacting removed?
I have submitted lots of request for information from those who have posted info, but I rarely receive a response. I just wonder if they are deceased. When I send a message, it goes to their email, correct?
If their email addresses aren't removed at death, they should be.
Thank you for your help.

They may get an email about receiving a message, but sending a message in the FamilySearch chat does not send it as an email.
Regardless of the semantics above, how is FamilySearch supposed to know the difference between someone who is deceased and someone who just hasn't been on FamilySearch in a while? There are many people who stop using FamilySearch, or at least don't use it often, for various reasons.

My understanding is that members of the LDS Church might be identified as dead. However, those of us who are not Church members will just go silent for an unknown reason.
