The FamilySearch Family Tree is fully open-edit and collaborative. There is no my tree or your tree; it's all our tree together.
IF what the other contributor is doing is abusive, then there is a procedure for reporting abuse. You'll find the button to report abuse in the Tools section on each profile. Be prepared to supply specific details of the abuse.

I can understand you being annoyed by this. Similar has happened to me in the past. It can be annoying when they add info to your tree and you know it's wrong. You could delete it or even message the person in question. I have done this in the past when some-one had added my Mother to their tree and stating that she was dead. My mother is not dead. I contacted the person about this and they kindly removed it. But it's far better not to include our generation or the above generation for fear of offending other users if the same thing was to happen. I Now have a free account with findmypast rootsfinder.com You can start your tree on there then import everybody from your familysearch tree . It's not the best site but easy to use. It gives me the opportunity to import more info or just add to it and the good thing about it is that no-one can edit it only you that way you've always got a copy of your own tree.
