Locate ancestors in my tree who lived in a specific place

I am interested in searching for people who are in my family tree who lived in a specific city or area. Context: I am visiting Manti, UT in March and visiting Nauvoo in April. I would like to be prepared to visit graves where my ancestors are buried and places where they may have lived. There are hundreds (thousands?) of people I'm related to and it is overwhelming to compile a list of people by burial place. Is there an easy way to locate this data set? Maybe if there were a way to export my family tree to excel so it would be sortable? Thanks in advance for any help on this topic.

The simplest way, in my opinion, is to use one of the family tree management software programs listed in the Solutions Gallery. I mostly use Family Tree Maker 2019, but there are several other compatible programs.
