I believe FamilySearch has a Manumissions folder where those records are attached. Is there a similar folder for records containing slave names such as names recorded in Wills of owners. I have the Will of one of my ancestors that mentions several slave names. It would be nice for these Wills to be recorded in a folder where the ancestor of a slave could research Wills in the area where their people came from to see if the names match any of their people.

Anita
