How best to signify a gap or missing generations in the tree.

Please reference: https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/9HFF-QMB   Lehi  is documented to be a descendant of Manasseh.  How should the name entry be done to reflect that?  Please note that a fictitious parent name is currently displayed.  (contributory comments atesting its fictitious may help get it removed)

Would "Lehi" "ha-Manasseh'' work?  And should there be a placeholder PID inserted between him and Manasseh, with narrative it represents missing generations?   Or just add him to Manasseh as a "son"?

I suspect FamilySearch would probably like that there were no connections at all, but the fact remains it's been already established, and how should it best be implemented or cleaned up?

Can anyone confirm that the “ha-” in front of the name means “descendant”? I can’t seem to find any document or commentary of such.

What concerns are there that the placeholder has temple work done to it? Any/best way to flag temple work not be done to it?

Anyway, I’d love some feedback!

An example of a placeholder or "missing link" PID is: https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/KN18-3SL

Not having placeholders is the only way to ensure extra work is not submitted.
