Include race in search

Since race is often given in census records, “race” should also be a filter option in the window at the right in "Search". If I know my ancestor is black, there is no need to have to scan through all the white persons.

If you use a specific census's collection search page (e.g. https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/1438024), there's an option to search by race.
