When indexing a name change, do you put their name that they were given at birth or the one they legally changed it to?

If you are indexing a Name Change Record (naturalization projects), you will index what they are changing it to. If it's any other record in any other project, you will index all variants of both the given and surname, separating each name by the word Or.
