instructions say to not enter gender by name assumptions so I leave gender blank...even though gender names are often obvious ...........MORE IMPORTANT QUESTION: .After several previous successes all my recent attempts failed. I completed image one and image 2 forms (which are for citizen application and and oath of allegiance, same persons) with all the required info.....but have not been able to find "submit" batch key...all I see is "index instructions"...no review nor explanation and submit batch does not appear. Please explain. Thank you...

You cannot leave required fields blank; you have to mark the fields blank by using Ctrl+B (or Command+B for Mac) or by clicking this on the toolbar:

The "Submit Batch" is located at the last entry of the last Image. You can also submit your batch by clicking the airplane on the toolbar:

Most projects today come with multiple entries per image. If you have extra entries at the end of your batch, click:

    FireShot Capture 006 - Indexing Tool — FamilySearch.org - www.familysearch.org.png

Then select "All blank entries" and click Delete. You will then be able to submit.
