Would it be possible to add an option to scheduling a temple appointment for ordinances
Hello
I was wondering if it would be possible to add an option when scheduling a temple appointment to schedule number of ordinances instead of the number of people. This is specific to the baptistry and to sealings.
Example. In Calgary up to 16 people can book into each sealing session. However if Louise Brown, and Brother Shields and Sister Guidy and I all book into the same sealing session and we each have 5 sealing to spouse and 20 sealing to parents we are not going to get much done. We are all strong researchers and patrons of the temple.
You would have stats to know that generally speaking you can complete in a full 1 hour sealing session 16 sealing to parents or 40 sealing to children, or a mathematical combination of those. Then if I could book in for 6 sealing to parents and 10 sealing to children, Louise Brown could book in for 10 sealing to parents and the session would be full, including temple workers and we would both get done the work we need to get done and we can move on to the next ordinance for the next ancestor.
As it is right now I book a session and then pray Louise and brother Shields and Sister Guidy don't show up in the same session, otherwise we all sit looking at each other happy to see each other in the temple, but wishing we knew they had booked for that sealing session so I would have done an endowment instead to use my time better.
I am happy to do each ordinance for each ancestor in an orderly and respectful manner. I just think time booked into both the baptistry and the sealing room can be more efficiently managed and I'm wondering if you would ever consider such system of booking by the number of ordinances you would like to complete vs the number of people you are attending. I'm not sure this would work in Utah where the temple attending population is so wonderfully vast, but it would sure work in Calgary and make regularly attending patrons very happy.
Thanks for your consideration

Here is a suggestion. Book the entire sealing appointment with the full number of patrons. Then find family, friends, ward members to come to your appointment to help you with your family names. Then you'll be able to accomplish what you would like in that appointment.
