Numbering Pages on a Pedigree Chart
I have most of my tree completed and want to make a hard copy.
Page one would include me, my parents, my grandparents, and my great grandparents.
What is the accepted method to number pages thereafter? I'm especially curious concerning how to number pages when certain branches of my forefathers are known, but other branches are unknown.
I understand the numbering system on a particular page, but I don't know how to number additional pages. Does anyone know the established protocol?
Thanks!

Hello Ray,
I have seen a number of ways to number charts and have included a couple of resources that may help you choose the one that works the best for you. There is no standard way, but many good suggestions are out there to help you.
Genealogical Numbering Systems
I used to print out my tree,, but found that with the addition of Research Helps, I was always adding new information, new branches, new ancestors. So, I quit printing, and rely solely on the FamilySearch Family Tree. It is convenient to have it on my phone, so if I ever need to look something up, it always handy.
Just a thought.

There are several programs available in the Solutions Gallery if you also want a digital backup. I keep a copy of my research in RootsMagic. I can print out pedigrees and family groups records and the system will number things for me.
