Search options, looking for potential issues

Hi,

I am wondering if there is any possibility/tool to look for potential issues for data where I have been involved, like for example child having more than one father or mother (people wrongly merged people) ?

Thanks in advance.

    Good morning Pascal.

FamilySearch Family Tree will flag some known data problems with a red Exclamation Point!

A person can have multiple fathers, as a placeholder until you can figure out which is the correct one.

There is a list of the data problems that will trigger a Red Exclamation Point.

    Hi Scott!

    Thanks!

I saw that part and it is indeed very useful to be aware of potential problems. I was also wondering whether there was a possibility, among persons I have created, to somehow list all people having such a red mark, rather than walking down the tree so to speak and checking one person at a time.

Interesting thought, adding Research Helps to My Contributions. I agree that it could be useful.

However, you don't necessarily have to check for data problems one at a time. You can use one of the chart views with the appropriate settings to look for the "red marks". I use the fan chart most often, which can only show one color at a time, so if you set it to showing Research Helps, it uses a heirarchy: red (problem) overrides blue (hint) overrides purple (suggestion).
