Finding person by id
I spent hours looking for someone that I had their name, spouses name, marriage date and when under search it didn't show up ... under SEARCH there is no way to search by ID. I had to call for help and they said it is under "Family Tree". I am a computer programmer and having something called "SEARCH" and you can't search on ID is very poor. Please put that option under "SEARCH" ... it should be intuitive for end users. THe current way is very user unfriendly.
Also ... why is FEED back showing when I get into Family Search. Once again this is very unuser friendly. Please put a link in that screen ... so that I don't have to get out of the program and get back in.

Obviously, https://www.familysearch.org/search/ does connect with the Family Tree program, but as the IDs you are presumably referring to are Family Tree IDs I don't see why one would expect them to be searched for outside of that program. After all, there are other FamilySearch IDs (found in the Genealogies section), so I think it would just complicate matters if your request was implemented: especially if we could search for these other types of IDs, too.

I'm afraid that you've completely misunderstood the scope and purpose of Search - Records. Your desire to search it by PID is akin to looking in your local library's card catalog and expecting to find someone's phone number. Or like looking for the milk in the linen closet.
