Link to geneteka.genealodzy.pl for Polish genealogy
I began using Familysearch.org along with paid websites in order to trace my heritage to obtain Polish citizenship by descent from Poland. I was struggling until I found the Polish site cited above. This site allowed me to trace backwards and find ALL direct and indirect ancestors.
I would suggest Family search somehow link to this site or at least suggest the site for further research for people researching past relatives born in Poland. Perhaps an algorithm which determines that a name searched for is of polish descent and then a like to the geneteka.genealodzy.pl website. The site is invaluable for polish heritage research and is free.
I know it made my research much easier and accurate. Just and observation. If it is not possible to link then just a suggestion to visit the site would be of tremendous help.

A valuable resource on the FamilySearch website is the Research Wiki. It is a great place to start any family research project.
Going to the entry for Poland: https://www.familysearch.org/en/wiki/Poland_Genealogy there is a wealth of information about researching in that country.
Under the section Databases is listed the Geneteka site and a link to the wiki page about it at: https://www.familysearch.org/en/wiki/Geneteka_Database which contains a link to the site and a brief introduction to using the site.
Anybody researching anywhere should spend some time in the Research Wiki.
