Sorry for asking a dumb question but I'm having difficulty finding answers for reviewing. In my current batch, a certificate of arrival is indexed despite instructions not to do so. Do I 1)review it as if it should have been included, or 2) find a way to delete the indexing. The original indexer had to add an additional entry in order to do it. Thank you.

I believe you are supposed to mark it as "No, No Extractable Data" when it was not meant to be indexed as the first step in the reviewing process. Unfortunately, not everyone realizes that kind of mistake until later.

Certificates of Arrival are nor indexed. This problem goes back to not reading Project Instructions, which state that COAs are to not be indexed. To delete the extra entry, follow these two steps:

Locate and click on the Trash Can on your indexing

    FireShot Capture 010 - Indexing Tool — FamilySearch.org - www.familysearch.org.png

This dialog comes up. Be sure that you are on the entry you want to delete.

    FireShot Capture 001 - Indexing Tool — FamilySearch.org - www.familysearch.org.png

The default is "The current entry (Entry X)." Keep it like that, then click Delete. Your extra entry is deleted and you'll be ready to review the correct document.
