Multiple "Mexico" options in Tree Search — which to use?
I was trying to search for a married couple by groom given names, bride given names, and date-range, and got a lot of hits. I was confident that they were married in State of Mexico, Mexico (which surrounds Mexico City on three sides). However, when I open the refinement option for "Marriage" and further for "Marriage Place", and select "Mexico (612,3**)", I see two different "Mexico" options:
- "Mexico (4,362)"
- "Mexico (10,429)"
- as well as "Mexico City (46,686)"
How do I decide which option to pick? There isn't a way to select two alternative options simultaneously (this place or this other place), is there?

No, I don't know of a way to apply two equivalent-level filters simultaneously. You'll just need to do the filtering twice (or on two separate tabs, although it looks like you have rather an overabundance of those already <grin>). Maybe there's a pattern to which "Mexico" is what; I suspect it probably has something to do with different collections coding things differently.

If you start keying "Distrito Federal" in marriage place, the drop-down will offer Mexico City as the first option:
If you begin by keying Mexico City, you'll also get the option:
