Unidentified Photographs

I have an idea.

I recently obtained two badly damaged, old photo albums from my wife's family. All 80 or so photos appear to be from between 1860 and 1915. Some are original tintypes. Most, thankfully, had been labeled with names. Some were labeled with places. 

I have about a dozen photos with no identification at all. And anyone who would know who these people were has long passed away. 

MY SUGGESTION

Create a place on FamilySearch where people with unidentified photos can post them with all their information and what they know about the photos. Let other FamilySearch users view them and suggest possible names or other information.

I can narrow my photos down to three or four surnames and four or five states or territories in the previously mentioned time frame.

I would be among the first users.
