Feedback re recent visual change of Family Search Genealogy Search Engine
I love the new font as it is easier to read especially on older eyes.
However, the change made to Spouses & Children and Parents and Sibling are confusing. They used to be side by side and easy to navigate. Spouses and Children on the left and Parents and Siblings on the right. You could not make a mistake and it was also nice to compare descendants’ names.
Now it is underneath each other and creating great confusion. When scrolling, one moment I look at a child and next I look at the parent’s brother or sister with the same name or vice versa because I either scrolled to far or did not scroll far enough. When you clicked on the wrong name it often takes instant to minutes before realising a mistake was made. That, or now I have to double check, double check to make sure I am in the correct relationship.
Could you please display Spouces & Children and Parents and Sibling again side by side. It is far more simplistic to navigate.
While I am at it, the new way documents are now scanned into the system is also unfriendly. Scrolling between pages is a nightmare. It can easily take up to a minute to get from one page to the next imagine if you wish to search a whole book. The new scanned documents also don’t show the Film #. I used that for my reference.
Otherwise, I love the Family Search Platform. What a great job and Family Search’s foresight to keep all these records. Wisdom beyond words.

@Louisa Magdelena Sellek, it seems that the change in typeface has put the contents of the "Family Members" section just over the cutoff for "narrow screen/doesn't fit side-by-side" on your device. They're still side by side for me, same as they've always been.
Make sure your browser window is using the full width of your screen; if it is, and the section is still stacking vertically, then you can try decreasing the zoom/magnification. (The exact method for this depends on your operating system and browser; in Windows, ctrl-minus usually works.) Yes, this will make the text slightly smaller, but a single increment (from 110% to 100%, say) may be enough, and shouldn't impact readability too much.

For browsing images, you can get back to the old viewer by editing the URL: delete the question mark and everything after it. (I agree that the old viewer is vastly superior for browsing, both in speed and in ease of navigation.)
