US, New England—Petitions for Naturalization, 1787–1906 [Part D]
I get lots of batches where the two images seem like they should just be indexed as one. For example, one image may only have the person's name and where the court is. The next image as where they were born and when and the record date, but no the person's name. Is there a way to index the two images as one?

Hello Paul. Yes, there is a way to do this and this project includes the instruction:
- Some records may continue to or from another image and you may need to view another image to get information for the fields on the image you are indexing. See "What to Do When Records Span 2 Images" in the "General Indexing Guidelines" below for information on viewing additional images.
Basically, you create the entry on the first image where the information starts, enter all the desired information from the next image, and then mark the next image as No, No Extractable Data in Step 1. To make it easier, you can also open the reference images so you can view both documents at the same time.
The link in the General Indexing Guidelines gives more detail.
