Update To indexing.
Allow users to just add the names of the people in the record and move on (and the reviewer would just review the name). The person who finds and attaches the record can view it and tag the corresponding people in their family tree. This would get indexing done so much faster.

Perhaps you could be more specific. As I understand it, different indexing projects have different instructions as to who / who not should be indexed when working on a particular batch. Maybe it's because I'm not an indexer, but I can't understand the point you are making regarding how indexers could be saving time.

So many people never look at the record image, only at the index. And, in many cases, only the index can be seen, if the record image is a restricted one. In such cases, a partial index, as suggested, would have little value.
